Final Fantasy 6 Is Coming To PC Soon
- By Ash
- in News
While not officially announced, Final Fantasy 6 appeared on the PEGI website (they handle European game ratings) with its platform listed as PC.
I haven't played FF6 in over 10 years if my memory serves me right so it will be interesting to see if the game holds up. My nostalgic view of it tells me its the best game ever with a truly amazing story but when I first played it I must've been 13 so I'm curious what my experience will be now that I'm (very slightly) more mature.

- in News
Dying Light's The Following DLC/expansion as well as the Season Pass are due for a price increase on December 8th. The reason being given is a big increase in the scope of the project.
The price for The Following DLC will go up from $15 to $20 while the season pass will go up from $20 to $30. So if you have any interest in Dying Light's DLC make sure to grab it before the price increase hits.
Steam Exploration Sale Is Live

While I don't have the faintest clue what exploration Steam is referencing I know good deals when I see them and there are plenty to be found here.
The Steam exploration sale will be going from today (25th) to the 1st of December and while there don't seem to be flash sales the daily deals are more numerous then ever. Also, you can get a decent discount on the community market by using the SteamGuard Mobile App so if there are any skins you're interested in now would be the time.
If you're interested I'll detail my personal favorites below:
Ghost In The Shell: First Assault Is Releasing This December As A F2P Game
- By Ash
- in News
It took me years and a good bit of growing up to first start appreciating Ghost in the Shell but ever since then I've poured over every bit of content related to it. At its core is a question about what happens with humanity and our self identity when everyone can chose and change their body at will. So naturally when you have a topic this complex and thought provoking you make a first person shooter about it!
However, Ghost in the Shell: First Assault - Stand Alone Complex Online (also known by its catchy abbreviation GitS: FA - SACO) besides its absolutely insane name turned out to be a fairly solid game, if numerous beta reports are to be believed. And at some point in December we'll be able to see for ourselves as the game will be launching both on Steam and the Nexon launcher as a f2p title.
Star Wars Battlefront - Battle Of Jakku Coming Soon And New Free DLC Announced
- By Ash
- in News
I am genuinely impressed by EA right now. A major complaint many people had with Star Wars Battlefront was its lack of content and here we are, not long after launch, with EA announcing another free map pack after the Battle of Jakku.
The Battle of Jakku itself will be arriving December 1st for those that pre-ordered Battlefront while the general public will be able to play it a week later. The newly announced free content, which is still unnamed, will be coming over the course of the next few months and will contain new maps as well as star cards.
Just Cause 3 - An Hour Of Pure Gameplay

- in Previews
If you're not sure what Just Cause is exactly its probably best described as a "small island republic destabilization simulator" because your goals in the game might be noble on paper but in actuality you are most likely going to completely demolish the whole nation, grinning with glee on every step of the way.
In Just Cause 2 you spent the majority of your time blowing stuff up, using a physically impossible grappling hook to cause stuff to explode, driving military vehicles in order to blow stuff up... are you seeing a pattern emerge here? Just Cause 2 might not have had a good story, or good voice acting but when it comes to helping you unwind after a long day there is simply no better game.
And judging by the video below it seems Just Cause 3 is following in its footsteps.
