Gwent: The Witcher Card Game Ciri artwork

The standalone version of Gwent is a card game that focuses heavily on resource management, card advantage, and careful planning in order to ensure that your own tricks don't end up working against you. And unlike most other card games, in Gwent you're only allowed to play one card per turn, so there is always a chance to counter the opponent's strategy before it actually grows to fruition, but also to bait them into a devastating trap!

While this might sound incredibly complex right now, Gwent is at its core a rather simple game, though there is definitely plenty of avenues to outplay your opponents. In order to show you what exactly Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is all about I've created a simple video showcasing a single match with each of the four currently available factions.
