Battlefield V artwork for the Lybia map

[Update]: After two years of patches, development on Battlefront 2 is now also coming to an end.

If you're a fan of Battlefield V, I'm afraid I come as a bearer of bad news. According to the latest developer update, Battlefield V's final major content patch will be coming this June.

While the details are few and far between, you can expect the June update to bring with it new weapons, a new map, game tweaks, as well as various events and rewards. For example, there will be new weekly rewards that grant you Battlefield Currency, which should give you a chance to unlock any gear you may have missed so far.

However, while the influx of new content will be slowing down considerably, the developers have reaffirmed that they will continue working on the anti-cheat systems. Unfortunately, any specific details are once again shrouded in mystery, but the good news is that there is an entire team working to tackle this problem. So should you encounter any cheaters, make sure to report them as your message won't be falling onto deaf ears.

That's pretty much it as far as current information goes. You can read a little bit more about the team's plans for Battlefield V, as well as keep an eye on any further announcements, over at the official website.
