We've had about a month or so to ruminate on the upcoming Hearthstone ranked ladder split and while the announcement was an exciting one it didn't bring with it enough details to truly sate the hunger of news-starved Hearthstone fans.

I'm afraid the same applies for today's "announcement of an announcement" but while Blizzard avoided releasing any actual information they did set a date for when they will finally spill the beans on the new expansion and ladder split.

The big reveal will be heralded by lead designer Ben Brode and senior producer Yong Woo during the Hearthstone Winter Championships on March 11th at 10:00am PST (7pm UTC).
