Tiny Tina's Wonderlands official artwork and logo

Inspired by Borderlands 2's highly popular DLC Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, the freshly released Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a ridiculously over-the-top homage to the RPG genre. It brings with it six character classes that you can mix and match talents from, a world filled with treasure chests to pillage and quests to complete, mountains upon mountains of procedurally generated weapons, and naturally, a whole host of fantasy monsters to clobber over and over again.

What all of this looks like in actual gameplay, that you can get a pretty good idea of through the remarkably lengthy developer preview below. Have a gander:

I've only just started my campaign so take the following with a few grains of salt, but judging by the initial reception it seems like Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is pretty much exactly what you would expect - a spruced up and lighthearted take on the classic Borderlands formula, all spiced up with a ton of Dungeons & Dragons references. So if you're in the mood for plenty of action and intentionally crass humor, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is probably worth a closer look.

You can check it out, as well as find some of the other developer previews, over at the official website. Have fun!
