Dragon Age: The Veilguard official artwork and logo for BioWare's newest RPG

A decade has gone by since Dragon Age Inquisition first arrived, so if you were patiently waiting to see where to story will go next, rejoice as Dragon Age: The Veilguard is nearly upon us! You can expect to see it land onto PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S this October 31st at a 60€ price tag.

As you would expect from the series at this point, Veilguard is all about chatting up unique characters and getting way too involved in their personal business, making all sorts of hard choices, and naturally, exploring a massive world while slicing and dicing your way through hordes of enemies. In other words, it may have a new coat of paint, but it's still good ol' Dragon Age!

What all of this looks like in action, as well as what Veilguard's story is all about, that you can check out through the launch trailer below. Have a gander:

I haven't played it myself so take the following with a few grains of salt, but after reading some of the pre-launch reviews it looks like Veilguard is a generally good game, though one that suffers from serious pacing problems. So if you decide to play it yourself and inevitably run into a situation where you're just smashing through the same enemies over and over and over again, it's recommended to just reduce the difficulty so you can get speed through the slow bits and get right back to the fun stuff.

Whatever your stance on the matter may be, you can learn more about Dragon Age: The Veilguard, as well as keep an eye on its fast approaching launch, over at Steam. Enjoy!
