Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition screenshot of Sir Lora in action

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition is set to arrive this August 31st, bringing with it a whole bunch of new content and improvements. There's going to be a better tutorial, a new difficulty setting, a whole bunch of new dialogue and voice acting, an improved journal to help you keep track of quests, changes to the Act 3 storyline, and yes, a new mini-companion in the shape of Sir Lora - a squirrel knight riding a skeletal cat!

If you think I'm making some sort of joke with that last part, think again as the developers have now released a brief trailer highlighting the surprisingly posh Sir Lora! Have a look, it's well worth a minute:

You can learn a little bit more about Sir Lora, as well as check out all of the changes coming in with the Definitive Edition, over at the Original Sin 2 Kickstarter page.

If you don't have the time or the will to read through all of that, you can also get a decent overview by listening to the developer update down below. Either way, I would fully recommend marking August 31st on your calendars as the already amazing Original Sin 2 is set to become even more glorious!
