EVE: Valkyrie is coming to HTC Vive in 2016

EVE Valkyrie is CCP's virtual space dogfighting game set within the fascinating EVE Online universe, with the focus mostly being on blowing stuff up rather than building up an empire.

It came out as a launch title for the Oculus Rift, and was for the longest time rumored to be a Rift exclusive, but thankfully those rumors have since then been dispelled as it was first announced for the PlayStation VR, and now for the Vive as well. Here's the trailer, and the brief announcement tweet, because what better way to release important news than by restricting yourself to 160 characters:

"Congratulations to HTC & Valve on launch! We’re excited to confirm #EVEValkyrie is coming to #Vive in 2016."

The exact release date has not been announced yet, but when it does I'll make sure to update you.
