Final Fantasy 3.3 update final chapter of Dragonsong War

If you're a fan of Final Fantasy 14 you should start considering a vacation in the near future as Update 3.3 has been announced for June 7, and from what I can gather its absolutely brimming with content.

As with the previous patches Square Enix has released a video teaser showcasing all of the features and locations, but even though it goes over each one fairly quickly its still an 8 minute long video so I'd recommend you grab something to drink before you dive in. On the other hand, if you simply can't be bothered to watch such a long video, or are struggling with data caps, I'll post a brief summary below.

Here's the short version of what to expect:

• The final chapter of the Dragonsong War Main Scenario quest

• A series of quests related to the gods of eld that are, you guessed it, still threatening the destruction of the world

• A new raid: The Weeping City of Mhach

• Two new dungeons: Sohr Khai and Hullbreaker Isle (Hard)

• Beast Tribe quests from the strangest creatures in Final Fantasy, the Moogles

• An automatic raidfinder that's supposed to be able to match players based on their experience

• New hairstyles, crafting recipes, minions, emotes, and naturally, mounts

If you don't feel like hibernating until Update 3.3 finally arrives there is a currently ongoing event you can participate in. The Make it Rain Campaign will be running until Friday, June 10, and will offer you the ability to earn new emotes, cosmetic goodies, silly little trinkets, and more. In other words, if you're looking for a small distraction until 3.3 finally arrives, now you have it.
