[Update #2]: After a few rounds of delays, Marvel's Midnight Suns has now landed onto PC and consoles.
[Update]: Great news, Marvel's Midnight Suns will be launching in 2022 after all!
If you were hoping to get your hands on Marvel's Midnight Suns at some point this year, I'm afraid I bring some bad news. In a brief announcement over at Twitter, Firaxis has revealed that their upcoming turn-based RPG has been delayed yet again.
"After discussion with the team, we've made the decision to move back the launch timing of Marvel's Midnight Suns to ensure we are delivering the best possible experience for our fans," reads the brief developer update. "We will launch later this fiscal year on Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, with the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch versions following at a later date."
"We know fans are looking forward to playing Marvel's Midnight Suns and we will use this extra time to make sure we are delivering the best possible experience for everyone. Marvel's Midnight Suns is easily the biggest game we've ever made and we're incredibly appreciative of all the support players have shared with us throughout the years."
Before some of you get too excited, it's important to mention that the announcement specifically refers to the fiscal year which extends into 2023. In other words, even if everything goes according to plan Marvel's Midnight Suns will still most likely be arriving at some point in early 2023.
Once we get an actual release date I'll make sure to let you know. Until then, I'll leave you with the gameplay reveal trailer. Enjoy!
