Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn Souls-like open-world RPG artwork and logo

Coming to us from the studio behind the Souls-like Ashen, the upcoming Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is an open-world action-RPG with a heavy focus on combat. However, instead of going with the usual medieval setting, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is all about smashing through enemies with the combined power of your mighty axe, classy-looking gun and a magical canine companion that really is quite adorable... while it's not munching on someone's face anyway.

What all of this nonsense looks like in action, as well as how closely Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn follows the whole Souls-like formula, that you can check out through the freshly posted gameplay preview. Have a gander:

As for the release date, I'm afraid Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn will not be launching later this year as previously announced. Instead, you can expect to see it land onto PC, PlayStation and Xbox at some point in early 2023. It's also worth mentioning that Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.

Once we get an actual release date I'll make sure to let you know as I'm quite curious myself. Until then, you can read a little bit more about Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn over at Steam. Enjoy!
