If you're sick and tired of being confined to a single city, or even a single planet, you might be interested to hear that GTA 5 will soon be getting a mod that lets you explore the galaxy itself. In true GTA 5 fashion the Grand Theft Space mod will have a variety of story missions to undertake, numerous locations to explore and pillage, as well as a whole bunch of hostile aliens to obliterate and humiliate.

Explaining all of this through words alone is not exactly the easiest of tasks, so allow me to share with you the recently posted trailer, courtesy of Duggy on Youtube. Have a look, its quite... something:

As for the release date, you can expect to see Grand Theft Space in the near future, though there is no official launch date announced just yet. It was actually supposed to come at the end of this month, but the developers have decided to delay it for a bit in order to make sure there are as few buggs as possible. So if all goes well chances are you will be able to explore space at some point in August.
