Guild Wars 2 close up screenshot of the Warclaw PvP mount

Guild Wars 2 was originally supposed to receive the PvP-focused mount Warclaw back in February, but unfortunately ArenaNet got hit by a rather large amount of layoffs, around a hundred people in total. As you might imagine, this caused quite a bit of chaos within the studio, and as such the Warclaw mount was pushed back towards March.

The wait is now finally over, thankfully, and the PvP-focused Warclaw has pounced onto the live servers alongside a rather large balance update. You can find all of the details, as well as read the full patch notes, over at the official forums

As for the Warclaw itself, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise to hear that its skillset has been tailored with World vs World PvP in mind. The Warclaw can help you break down fortress doors, avoid attacks and move at a rapid pace by expending its stamina meter, and once you're ready to join the fight yourself, pounce right on top of an enemy. Not exactly the most useful set of abilities for PvE, but it sure is a fancy mount to ride around on!

You can read a little bit more about the Warclaw over at the official website, and with that said, I'll leave you with one of the trailers showing off what the Warclaw has to offer. Enjoy!
