[Update]: Hearthstone's Voyage to the Sunken City expansion is bringing in some truly gigantic creatures.
The Forged in the Barrens expansion arrived a little while ago, bringing with it the long-requested Classic Mode alongside a whole host of fun new cards. Unfortunately, things didn't remain entertaining for long as some of the new cards, in combination with old cards rotating, created an environment where only Paladins, Mages and Rogues could find any sort of success.
So in order to sort this whole mess out, Blizzard has now released a brand new update. Mage's Deck of Lunacy has gone up to 4 mana cost, Paladin's secret-spewing Sword of the Fallen has lost 1 durability, while the always-annoying Pen Flinger has now been changed to only target minions!
As an additional little bonus, Blizzard has also decided to nerf the freshly launched watch posts. Mor’shan Watch Post now only has 4 health, while its younger brother Far Watch Post has been reduced to 3 health. Neither of these are massive nerfs, but they should hopefully make dealing with the watch posts in the early-game a bit of an easier affair rather than pure frustration
You can check out the full list of changes, as well as all of the accompanying bug fixes, over at the Hearthstone website. Enjoy the new meta, and just in case you missed it, I'll leave you with the animated trailer for Forged in the Barrens:
