Despite it releasing over a year ago, Team Cherry has continued to support Hollow Knight with new and interesting content, all of which came as entirely free updates! All of their hard work will culminate on August 23rd as Hollow Knight will be receiving its final and largest chapter - Gods & Glory.

The full list of changes has not been revealed just yet, but you can expect to see new and difficult bosses to contend with, new NPCs to chat around with, new secrets to uncover, new music to jam out to, and perhaps most interestingly of all, a whole new game mode to explore! While this will be the final chapter of Hollow Knight's story, it is worth mentioning that Team Cherry is still working on a fully fledged expansion featuring Hornet as a new playable character. As you might expect, there are very few details currently available, but what we do know is that she will have her own combat style and abilities, unique bosses to fight and areas to explore, and naturally, even more lore to delve into.

Once more information bubbles to the surface I'll make sure to let you know, but until then you should visit the official website to learn just a little bit more about Gods & Glory, as well as Hollow Knight itself. And if you haven't already played it, I would highly recommend you take this opportunity to correct that little 'mistake' as Hollow Knight is one of the best Metroidvania games released in quite a few years!
