King of Fighters XV official artwork and logo

Quite a few years have gone by since King of Fighters XIV first launched, so if you're itching to finally get your hands on the sequel, I have both good and bad news to deliver. The good news is that King of Fighters XV will be launching simultaneously across all platforms: PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows 10, Steam and the Epic Games Store.

The one bit of bad news, however, is that we're going to have to wait for quite a while in order to get our hands on it. While the exact release date has not been announced just yet, you can expect to see King of Fighters XV at some point in early 2022.

As for what exactly you can expect to see in terms of actual gameplay, that you can find out through the recently posted trailer highlighting the Mexican fighter Ramón. Have a peek:

Once we get a proper release date, ideally alongside the PC system requirements, I'll make sure to let you know. Until then, you can keep an eye on any smaller announcements and trailers over at the King of Fighters website.
