If you ever wanted to give the Life is Strange series a try, now would be a very good time to do so! For the next two days both the original Life is Strange and its prequel Life is Strange: Before the Storm are going to be on a deep discount on Steam, so if you're even remotely interested I would highly recommend you give them a shot.
For those of you that might not even know what Life is Strange is all about, allow me to share the original launch trailer. It's a little bit on the cheesy side, but I think it does a pretty good job of setting up the story and characters. Have a look:
As for whether it's actually worth your time and money, at this price point I would say the answer is a definite yes. While the first few episodes have some of that "middle-aged men trying to write teenage girls" type of dialogue, I found the story to be so interesting that I ended up finishing the entire game in a single day. A similar thing happened with the Before the Storm prequel, so if you're into narrative-focused games I really do think that Life is Strange is at least worth a closer look.
