[Update]: Minecraft: Dungeons is heading over to Steam on September 22, 2021.

Whether we're talking about the original Diablo or the recently launched Minecraft Dungeons, the ARPG experience is always more enjoyable alongside a couple of friends. After all, when things go south and the fight seems lost, it's always handy to have someone to throw in front of you!

As such, I am very happy to say that Minecraft Dungeons has now added cross-platform multiplayer. So regardless of whether you and your friends are playing on PC, PlayStation, Xbox or Switch, you will now be able to band together and face off against everything Minecraft Dungeons has to offer.

The good news doesn't end there, however, as Minecraft Dungeons will also be getting cross-platform saves at some point in the future. The exact date hasn't been announced just yet, but from the looks of it this seems to be top priority at Mojang, so expect to see it implemented sooner rather than later.

You can read a little bit more about the freshly released cross-play over at the Minecraft Dungeons website. Have fun!
