[Update]: The PC version of Monster Hunter World - Iceborne will be coming in January 2020!
These past few weeks have been a pretty good time for Monster Hunter: World fans, especially on PC. Just recently we've received the rather festive Winter Star event, Lunastra and Arch-tempered monsters, the gold-plated Kulve Taroth as a somewhat challenging raid boss, as well as the announcement that Final Fantasy's iconic monster Behemoth will be arriving this December 21st.
The good news don't end there, however, as Capcom has just revealed a massive new expansion - Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. The details are still few and far between, but you can expect a large new region to explore, new monsters to hunt, combat moves and gear to mess around with, items to collect and craft, and naturally, even more of the story featuring everyone's favorite Handler.
You can expect to see Monster Hunter World: Iceborne at some point this autumn for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, though no exact date has been announced just yet. As for the PC version, it will once again be arriving at a later date. On a positive note, the developers have sped up the pace of PC content quite considerably these past few months, so chances are we won't have to wait for half a year in order to get our hands on Iceborne.
Once more information becomes available I'll make sure to let you know as I'm quite intrigued myself, but until then allow me to leave you with the brief teaser trailer. Enjoy!
