Monster Hunter: World screenshot of Assassin's Creed themed armor

Monster Hunter: World devs have been going all-out with the crossover events these past few months, and while I'm usually not the biggest fan of the idea, I certainly can't complain about all of the new and vastly different armor sets that have been coming as a part of the deal. After all, it's not every day you get to dress up your Palico as Mega Man and yourself as Dante from Devil May Cry!

With that in mind, I'm sure it won't come as too much of a surprise to hear that Monster Hunter: World is now having a crossover event with Assassin's Creed. So if you're up for getting the new and fancy Assassin's Creed themed layered armor, as well as the new Assassin's Hood specialized tool, make sure to head on over to the Events section in order to get started.

During its first appearance the event will only run for a short amount of time, until January 10th on consoles, so while it's not exactly a massive time commitment, you might want to get it done sooner rather than later. As for the PC version, we will be getting it at some point in the future, though I doubt the wait will be long given that the pace of PC updates has increased quite significantly.

And speaking of crossovers, you might also be interested to hear that Monster Hunter: World will be getting The Witcher series' Geralt at some point in 2019. The details are few and far between, but what I can tell you is that Geralt will launch alongside his very own quest chain and abilities, which should be a good deal of fun to mess around with.

Once more information comes to light I'll make sure to let you know, but until then allow me to leave you with a brief trailer showcasing the new Assassin's Creed items. Enjoy!
