[Update]: Ori and the Will of the Wisps has now been released for PC and Xbox One, and so far the reception has been pretty good!
Ori and the Blind Forest might not be the most mechanically interesting game I've ever played, but its visual design and atmosphere are absolutely top-notch. As such, I'm glad to say that during this year's E3 Microsoft revealed the much-requested sequel, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, and that its just as stunning as the original.
If you're interested in seeing what Ori and the Will of the Wisps might look like you'll find what you seek in the recently posted announcement trailer right below. It doesn't feature any actual gameplay, but as with Ori and the Blind Forest it manages to perfectly set the mood through visuals and music alone. Have a look, its well worth the two minutes:
Despite Ori and the Will of the Wisps being announced on the big stage neither Microsoft nor the developers have provided any actual information. The only thing I can tell you is that Ori and the Will of the Wisps will be coming to both PC (via Windows 10) and Xbox One. I'll make sure to update you once more details get released as I must admit I'm quite curious myself about how the developers are going to improve upon the original.
