The Humble Store is currently holding an End of Summer Sale, and in order to get a few more eyes onto the storefront they are now giving away the horror game Outlast and its DLC. This offer will only last for another 25 hours, so I would recommend you go and grab Outlast as soon as possible. You don't even need to install it, once its in your Steam account you will own it forever.

If you're wondering whether Outlast is even worth your time, however, I would say that it depends on whether you're a fan of horror games or not. From a purely gameplay standpoint its a bit repetitive as all you really do is run away, but that is easily counteracted by a great atmosphere and some pants-wettingly terrifying scenes. So if you're looking for a survival horror game where you blast away hordes of zombies with a giant shotgun, I'm afraid you won't find that here, but if you're into slow, brooding horror then Outlast is definitely worth playing.

While you're there make sure to also check out the currently ongoing sale. Just from a cursory glimpse I could easily see a bunch of great games at deep discounts, games such as The Witcher 3, Total War: Warhammer, XCOM 2, and so forth. If you're only thinking about buying one, if any at all, I would definitely go with The Witcher 3. Its one of the best AAA RPGs I've played in a very, very long time.
