After the somewhat disappointing Summer Games, Overwatch will soon have another chance to impress the playerbase as the Halloween Terror event has now been pinned for October 9th. You can expect to see a return of the Junkenstein's Revenge PvE mode (alongside some minor improvements), a variety of new cosmetics to collect, as well as spooky versions of some of the current maps.
While no details have been given just yet, one of the recent leaks has revealed the six heroes that are likely to receive the most impressive cosmetics this time around. Those heroes are rumored to be: Hammond or Roadhog, Moira, Reinhardt, Genji, Soldier and Sombra. However, while the leak appears to be extremely credible, I would still suggest you don't get too excited... just in case.
As for the fan-favorite Junkenstein's Revenge PvE mode, I'm afraid it won't be getting any major updates. What it will bring with it, however, is a brand new boss for us to tackle - the Bride of Junkenstein. Once again very little information has been given just yet, but much like Dragon Symmetra from last year, it is expected that the Bride of Junkenstein will either be Moira or Sombra as they're the ones receiving new cosmetics. Personally, my vote is for Moira as it seems to fit her character much better.
Once Blizzard releases more information, or at least reveals a couple of the new cosmetics, I'll make sure to let you know.
