It has only been a couple of weeks since the last free trial, but if you've managed to miss it or if you're just looking to give Overwatch another try, you might be glad to hear that Blizzard has now unleashed yet another free weekend. The whole event will last until August 27th and, unlike the previous free weekend, will be fully available on both PC and consoles. You can find all of the download links, as well as more information, over at the official website.
As far as content is concerned, the free weekend will give you access to just about everything Overwatch has to offer: all 28 heroes, all 18 maps, all of the various cosmetics and voice lines, as well as all of the game modes like Quick Play, Arcade and Custom Games. The only feature that will be locked away from you is the competitive mode, for obvious reasons.
For those of you wondering if it's even worth giving Overwatch the time of day, I would say the answer is a definitive yes. While there are still some balance problems that need to be fixed, Blizzard has done a truly outstanding job of supporting Overwatch throughout the years, so if you're even remotely interested I would highly recommend you give it a chance while it's still free. And if you're wondering what kind of support I'm even talking about, that would be things like the newly released Busan map, D.Va cinematic short and PTR balance changes.
Have fun, and do make sure to try the newly released Wrecking Ball as his playstyle is ridiculously enjoyable! And just for good measure, I'll leave you with the latest D.Va cinematic short:
