Overwatch screenshot from the new Busan map

After spending a little bit of time on the PTR, Overwatch's newest Control map Busan finally made its way to the live servers on September 11th. I order to give everyone enough time to adjust it was initially only available in Quick Play and Arcade game modes, though that restriction has now been lifted and Busan has been fully integrated into the Competitive Play map pool.

Before you rush into Competitive Play to check the new map out in a 'proper' setting, I would highly, highly advise you first explore it in a custom game. The reason I say this is because the third portion of the Busan map contains some of the most complex level geometry and the most flank routes of any map in the game. So unless you actually take the time to figure out where all of the various tunnels and hallways go, you might just find yourself at a significant disadvantage.

While the most recent trailer unfortunately won't show you the kind of complexity I'm talking about, it will still give you a pretty good impressive of what Busan is all about. So if you're even remotely curious, have a look as it really is a lovely map:

The final thing worth mentioning is that if you haven't, you should also go and check out the latest D.Va cinematic short as one of the map sections is dedicated solely to it. I won't pretend it's my favorite cinematic short, especially when it comes to writing, but it's still well worth checking out, if for no other reason than the well-choreographed action. Enjoy!

Up for some more?
