[Update]: Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous' The Lord of Nothing DLC has added 15 new archetypes and a lengthy side-story to explore.
After a fair bit of time in development, the excellent CRPG Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous has now made its way to consoles. It has done so alongside the sizable Enhanced Edition update which brings with it a a wide array of fixes and quality of live improvements, along with the ability to play through the entire game with a controller on PC if you so wish.
PC players can also look forward to being able to customize their character's appearance by recoloring and reforging their armor, wasting less time shuffling through their inventory thanks to the new search function, as well as diving deep into the stats behind each battle with the enhanced combat log. Most importantly of all, the Enhanced Edition has added new quests and dialogue for the end-game, so roleplaying the different mythic paths should be a more interesting affair.
While there is no preview showcasing all of the new improvements, you can get a pretty good idea of just what Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is all about through the Enhanced Edition trailer below. Have a peek:
Similarly the patch notes are shrouded in mystery, most likely because the Enhanced Edition has stuck its fingers into pretty much every aspect of gameplay, but you can get a brief overview of the new features and the developer's plans for them over at the official website.
The final thing worth mentioning is that Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - Enhanced Edition is 60% off until October 3rd. As I've talked about throughout my review it's a highly immersive RPG that's also remarkably hard to put down, so if you've got an itch only a chunky CRPG can scratch, I'd heartily recommend checking out Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.
You can do so, as well as learn more about the Enhanced Edition, over at Steam. Enjoy!
