If you're like me and you completely skipped over the first two Saints Row games in favor of Saints Row 3 and 4, you now have a chance to see what exactly you missed. What I mean by this is that Saints Row 2 is free for a limited time on both GOG and Steam. I'm not exactly certain how long the promotion is going to last, so make sure to grab your copy as soon as possible, even if you don't plan to install it any time soon.

Before you do that it is important to mention that Saints Row 2 is not as ridiculously over-the-top as Saints Row 3 and 4, so if you're looking to beat people up with a giant inflatable dildo I'm afraid you're going to end up being disappointed. On a slightly unrelated note, GOG is also giving away Fantasy General - a WW2 strategy game with a bunch of magic, beasts, and mechs thrown in for good measure.
