Sea of Thieves is a multiplayer focused pirate adventure and exploration game where you'll need to search for hidden treasure, pillage ships piloted by other players, and hopefully make it back to port in one piece in order to cash in your booty. In theory its everything one could hope for from a multiplayer pirate game, so hopefully it'll end up being just as good as it sounds.
While its release date is still far off, Sea of Thieves devs have recently posted a video detailing the 10 most important things you should know about before jumping into the fray. Sea of Thieves will be coming to PC, Xbox One and Xbox One X in early 2018, though no specific release date has been given just yet. Most importantly of all, as you've no doubt heard in the video, it will feature cross-platform multiplayer between the various versions! Whether this is going to be locked to co-op only, I'm afraid I don't know, but its certainly something worth celebrating given how few cross-platform multiplayer games there are.
