If you currently have some free time and a bit of extra money, and you feel like it's a good idea to get rid of both, you might be interested to hear that the Steam Autumn Sale has now arrived! Much like the past few sales there's no special gimmick that requires you to come back every few hours, so if you see a game you're particularly interested in, you can just grab it without worrying about it going on a deeper discount within the next few days.
Since Steam is a pretty big platform and choosing games can be a rather daunting process, allow me to share some of my favorites from the past year or two. Here they are, in no particular order:
• Total War: Warhammer 2 (-50%)
• NieR: Automata (-50%)
• Vermintide 2 (-50%)
• Dead Cells (-20%)
• Monster Hunter: World (-34%)
• Divinity: Original Sin 2 (-35%)
While you're exploring the storefront, do make sure to also take a few minutes and nominate your favorite games for this year's Steam Awards. The whole thing is entirely arbitrary and there are no real rewards for participating, but it's still a great way to show some appreciation towards your favorite developers, as well as potentially introduce a whole horde of new players to games you feel are truly exceptional.
Neither the sale nor the voting process will last for a long time, however, as the end date has been set for 10am PST on November 27th. So if you have some games you've been eyeing for a while, you might want to grab them before you forget about the whole thing. Either way, have fun!
