If you've got a fair bit of free time and are itching for a sizable game to sink your teeth into, you might be interested to hear that Steam has just launched a rather chunky JRPG Sale. There's a whole bunch of different games across different series currently on offer, so you should be able to find something that suits you fairly easily.

As always, the sale won't really last all that long, so you might want to dive in sooner rather than later. In this case, you can expect to see the JRPG Sale to stick around only until March 21st, 2022.

If you're new to the genre, or simply looking for some suggestions, I would recommend jumping into the The Legend of Heroes, Ys, Yakuza or Monster Hunter series, as well as the all-time classic Chrono Trigger. There's a ton of great games spread between the four series, so if you're going to start your JRPG adventure anywhere, those would be a pretty good bet.
