[Update]: Steam's massive Autumn sale has now arrived alongside The Steam Awards nominations.

If you're in the mood for some spooky games, or at least ones that deal with somewhat mature themes, today is your lucky day as Steam's Halloween 2020 sale has just begun! While there is unfortunately no fun little mini-game to participate in like some of the previous sales, the sheer amount of discounted games make the whole thing well worth checking out regardless.

The only catch is that the sale will be short-lived. In order words, you only have until 10am PST on November 2nd to pick up whatever games tickle your fancy, as that is when the Halloween 2020 sale will be floating away to realms unknown.

For those of you unsure about which games to grab, allow me to highlight a few of my recent favorites. Here they are, in no particular order:

• Subnautica (30%)
• Resident Evil 2 Remake (60%) 
• Hollow Knight (50%) 
• Alien Isolation (75%)
• Dying Light (66%)
• The Forest (55%)
• Remnant: From the Ashes (50%)

Obviously, there is a lot of other great games out there, so I'd also highly recommend taking a few minutes and browsing through the whole sale. That's how I found Hollow Knight back in the day, and that one ended up being one of my favorite Metroidvania games ever, so even a quick glance can occasionally lead to something wonderful.
