[Update #2]: Steam's massive Winter Sale has now arrived along with the chance to vote for the Steam Awards 2022!

[Update]: Steam's Autumn Sale 2022 has now arrived alongside the annual Steam Awards nominations.

If you're looking for a new game to delve into during this Halloween season, you'll be happy to hear that the Steam Scream Fest 2022 has now arrived. Much like its less spooky predecessors, the Steam Scream Fest brings with it a ton of discounts on all sorts of horror themed games, as well as a bunch of free demos to entice you to give something new and unusual a chance.

For those of you unsure where to even start, allow me to share with you a couple of games that really caught my attention these past few years. Here's the list, in no particular order:

• Dusk (-60%, 6,79€) 
• Resident Evil 2 Remake (-70%, 11,99€) 
• Project Zomboid (-33%, 11,24€) 
• Hollow Knight (-50%, 7,49€) 
• Control Ultimate Edition (-70%, 11,99€) 
• Remnant: From the Ashes (-60%, 15,99€) 

As with any Steam sale, all of this is just the tip of the iceberg. So regardless of how you feel about my suggestions, I would highly recommend diving into the Steam Scream Fest yourself and seeing what else you can find. There's an absurd amount of horror games out there, so odds are good you'll run across at least one that's right up your alley.
