If you're just looking for an excuse to escape the scorching heat and chill out indoors, you'll be pleased to hear that Steam's Summer Sale 2023 has now arrived. Much like its predecessors, the Summer Sale brings with it an absurd amount of discounts scattered across all sorts of genres and gameplay styles, so odds are good that you'll be able to find something interesting to sink your teeth into.

For those of you that have no clue where to even start, allow me to share with you a couple of quality games I've found myself revisiting over the past few months - all of which are currently on a deep discount. Without further ado, here's the brief list:

 Deep Rock Galactic (-67%, ~10€)
Middle-earth: Shadow of War (-85%, ~6€, Free Demo Available)
 Resident Evil 2 Remake (-75%, ~10€)
 Warhammer: Vermintide 2 (-80%, 5.6€)
 Control Ultimate Edition (-75%, ~10€)
 Doom (-75%, ~5€)
Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition (-70%, ~8€)
 Monster Hunter: World (-50%, ~15€)

As always, this list is merely the tippiest tip of a very, very large iceberg. So if you have even a bit of free time, I'd highly recommend diving into the sale and browsing through the seemingly endless piles of games yourself. There's a ton of excellent stuff out there, and given how fast games tend to decrease in price with time, you're basically guaranteed to find quite a few bargains on old classics!

Just don't take too long as the Steam Summer Sale 2023 will only be around until July 13th. With that little warning aside, I hope you have fun browsing, and I'll make sure to let you know if I run into some more awesome games!

[Update]: As it so happens, I stumbled upon another really good one - Brotato. It's a Vampire Survivors inspired action roguelite with a vast amount of customization options. I've played it for around ten hours at this point yet I'm still itching for more starchy action, so if you're into the genre I'd recommend giving it a look since it's only 4€.

Up for some more?
