[Update]: Street Fighter 6 will be launching onto PC and consoles on June 2, 2023 alongside 18 characters.
While Street Fighter 6's release date is still a nebulous 'at some point in 2023', Capcom has at least kept things interesting by slowly revealing new characters. So far they've confirmed Ryu, Luke, Jamie, Chun-Li and Guile, while the latest preview has added Kimberly and Juri to the list.
What the two of them look like in action, as well as what their fighting style is all about, that you can get a bit of a sneak peek at through the gameplay preview below. Have a gander:
On the completely opposite side of things, Capcom has also announced that Street Fighter 6 will bring with it something called the "Game Face Feature". This essentially allows you to press the directional buttons while on the versus screen to have your character do a variety of goofy faces while waiting for the match to start. It's completely ridiculous, but also a much welcome sprinkling of personality. Here's what it all looks like:
