Styx: Shards of Darkness screenshot of a fairly big level

Styx: Shards of Darkness is an upcoming stealth game heavily inspired by the Thief series. As you can probably guess from that comparison alone this means it features plenty of open-ended levels crawling with guards and other dangers, a variety of weapons and tools to either dispatch or bypass them, as well as stealth mechanics that reward patience over all-out aggression. But while the Thief series was always focused around singleplayer, Styx: Shards of Darkness will also have co-op!

So if you're interested in what sneaking around with a friend looks like, you'll find the recently posted video down below. Before you dive in, however, just bear in mind that the video features a ridiculous amount of equally ridiculous one-liners, so don't feel bad if you simply need to mute the whole thing. Anyway, here's the video:

Styx: Shards of Darkness is set to arrive this March 14th for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. If you would like to learn more I would recommend heading over to either the official website or Steam.

On the other hand, if you're looking for a more in-depth overview of the stealth mechanics and what exactly you'll be able to do, you'll find one of the earlier trailers over here. It features plenty of sneaking around, a variety of interesting tricks and tools, and some pretty good looking scenery. Enjoy!
