God Eater 3 official screenshot of a giant monster

Bandai Namco recently hosted an event celebrating God Eater's 8th anniversary, and as you might expect, they revealed a bunch of information about the upcoming action-RPG God Eater 3. Unfortunately for us in the West, most of that information is in Japanese, but what I can tell you is that God Eater 3 will be coming to both PC and PS4.

More importantly, Bandai Namco also held a fairly lengthy gameplay presentation, so if you're interested in seeing what God Eater 3 looks like in action, you'll find the video right below. Before you dive in, just bear in mind that it is entirely in Japanese and from an early build, so it's obviously not going to be representative of the final version. With that said, here's the video:

There is currently no release date set for God Eater 3, not even for the Japanese version which is likely to come out first. If I was a betting man, however, I would put my chips on God Eater 3 releasing at some point in 2018 given that the gameplay shown above seems to be be quite solid. Whatever the case may be, we'll be getting an official announcement in the "near future".

If you would like to follow God Eater 3's development moving forward you should visit the official website, though do bear in mind that there isn't much there just yet.
