The Division's Falcon Lost incursion artwork

While The Division might not be up my alley in terms of gameplay, it is incredible to see how much effort Ubisoft is pouring into it. Even though we're currently many months after its original launch The Division is still receiving regular updates, and there's even been a Survival Mode DLC released a couple of weeks ago.

As you can probably guess from the title, that list will soon be getting expanded with a brand new patch for the PC version that will enable DirectX 12 support. It will also bring with it a couple of fixes for those using a controller, as well as improved performance for those with high CPU usage, and more importantly, for those using some of the higher resolutions.

Do bear in mind, however, if you choose to use DirectX 12 you won't be able to change your brightness. Don't worry, this isn't some sort of insane new feature, but rather a bug that hasn't been resolved just yet. So until it is make sure not to activate DirectX 12 if you're using anything beyond the default brightness.

And finally, if you would like to learn more about Ubisoft's plans with The Division, and don't mind watching a rather lengthy video in order to do so, here's the most recent "State of the Game" Twitch VOD. Enjoy!
