Enter the Gungeon official artwork without logo

Enter the Gungeon is a bullet-hell roguelike with tons of cool weapons and simple controls that make it easy to learn, but also a surprising amount of depth and complexity that make it insanely hard to master. While I had my fill of Enter the Gungeon way quicker than I grew bored of The Binding of Isaac, it is still one of the best action-roguelikes I've played in quite a while.

As such, I am very happy to say that the developer Dodge Roll has now announced that Enter the Gungeon has gone platinum with over one million copies sold! For an indie game released in April of 2016 these are some pretty damn impressive numbers! They are likely to increase even further as Enter the Gungeon will soon be coming to the Nintendo Switch and also getting a bunch of new content, though what that content is and when it'll be ready I'm afraid the developers haven't announced just yet.

If you would like to add to the numbers and see what all of the fuss is about, you can grab yourself a copy by heading over to Steam. And if you're wondering what the gameplay is even like, I'll leave you with the original gameplay trailer that still holds up today. Enjoy!

Up for some more?
