Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr is an upcoming action-RPG that combines the grim darkness of the Warhammer 40k universe with the randomly generated levels of the Diablo series. As you might imagine from this description alone, Inquisitor - Martyr is all about wondering across a large world littered with enemies, blasting said enemies apart with a variety of unique weapons, and naturally, collecting more loot than even the strongest person could possibly carry around.

Inquisitor - Martyr was supposed to arrive on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this May 11th, but it would appear that the developers have run into some issues as they have now announced a delay. Thankfully, it's not going to be a long wait as Inquisitor - Martyr's new release date has been pinned for June 5th

"Unfortunately we have to push back the release date of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr a few weeks," reads the brief announcement. "We need a little more time to ensure that the first Action RPG in the Warhammer 40,000 Universe is a truly great experience for all of our players, regardless of their platform of choice. "

I can only hope they will take the time to tighten up the gameplay and make the weapons feel a lot more weighty to use, especially the melee ones which I found to be downright unbearable in my initial review. To do anything else would be a massive shame since the core idea behind Inquisitor - Martyr really is solid, it just needs a bit more polish to truly shine through.
