Total War: Rome Remastered official artwork and logo

A mere month after its original announcement, Total War: Rome Remastered has now been fully unleashed onto PC. The new and improved version brings with it support for modern resolutions, better visuals and audio, enhanced UI and controls, and naturally, a whole bunch of quality of life tweaks to make things run smoother.

As for what exactly all of this looks like in actual gameplay, that you can find out through the recently posted trailer. Have a gander, it' a fairly short yet nostalgic one:

When it comes to its quality, it is worth mentioning that Total War: Rome Remastered has received a somewhat mixed reception. This is partly because the new campaign UI is somewhat jarring, and partly because Rome: Total War is an ancient game with a whole bunch of quirks and issues that have been left intact. So even if you're in the mood for a bit of a nostalgia trip, I'd highly recommend doing a little bit of research before jumping in - just to be on the safe side!

Whatever your choice may be, you can learn more about Total War: Rome Remastered, as well as check out a bunch of user reviews, over at Steam. Enjoy!
