[Update] The patch is now live. You can find the full patch notes, as well as more about the accompanying "The Queen and the Crone" DLC over here.
If everything goes according to plan, Total War: Warhammer 2 will be getting a massive update this May. Besides finally introducing Norsca into Total War: Warhammer 2, the update will also bring with it an assortment of balance changes and bug fixes, a brand new Giant Slayers unit for the Dwarfs, a major rework of the Skaven food mechanic, and the list goes on.
While all of the details have not been announced just yet, most likely not to take the thunder away from Thrones of Britannia's imminent launch, the devs did reveal that Norsca will be getting four additional Monster Hunts. So if you're up for acquiring a whole bunch of powerful artifacts, and perhaps even the giant beast itself, you will need to defeat the Mother of Flame (Flamespyre Phoenix), Gargantulzan (Carnosaur), Hellbeast of Seep-Gore (Hell-Pit Abomination) and the Beast of Raema (Hydra). You can get a sneak peek of them in action over here.
We'll be getting a brand new announcement next week, and judging by the 'teaser' at the very end it seems it'll be related to the Dwarfs. I can only hope it's going to be additional starting locations for the current Legendary Lords as both The Empire and Dwarfs are overcrowding their capital. That, and it's practically a sin to have Ungrim Ironfist in the game and not have him start in Karak Kadrin, the Slayers Keep!
Once more information gets revealed I'll make sure to let you know, but you can also keep an eye out for yourself by visiting the official blog.
