Total War: Warhammer 2's Carnasaur destroying Skaven forces

Total War: Warhammer 2 has recently been updated with the Mortal Empires campaign. In short, its a combination of the maps from Total War: Warhammer 1 and 2, as well as all of the Legendary Lords and the factions they lead. The end result, as you might imagine, is an absolutely gigantic world full of unique races to befriend and eventually mow down on the field of battle.

In order to show off just what kind of carnage you can unleash upon the world, Total War: Warhammer 2 devs have now released a brief trailer highlighting the 10 most interesting, over-the-top, or just plain ol' funny kill animations. Have a look, its quite the spectacle:

While most of these animations are available in the base game, their true potential and brutality is only unlocked through the Blood for the Blood God DLC. On the positive side, if you already own the blood & gore DLC from Total War: Warhammer 1, it will automatically be available in Total War: Warhammer 2 as well. I still have no idea why its being sold as a separate DLC to begin with, but I suppose this is a decent compromise.

You can learn more about Total War: Warhammer 2, as well as its Blood for the Blood God DLC, by visiting Steam. And finally, allow me to leave you with a grudge match between the Dark Elves and Dwarfs, just so you know what all of the carnage looks like in an actual battle. Enjoy!
