Total War: Warhammer 2 is going to be the second game in a trilogy that will span the entire Warhammer Fantasy universe and include all of the major playable races from the tabletop version. As for Total War: Warhammer 2 in specific, it will take place in the "New World" and will feature the High Elves, Dark Elves, Lizardmen, and Skaven (though they still haven't been fully revealed) all fighting over the Great Vortex.

After quite a few trailers, teasers, and previews Creative Assembly has now finally announced the official release date as well. You can expect to see Total War: Warhammer 2 on September 28th, though there will be some additions to the original in the meanwhile. What exactly those additions will be and how you'll be able to get them, I'm afraid I don't know, but it does appear to be some sort of pre-order bonus.

And speaking of bonuses, if you have a rather sizable amount of money to waste and a taste for Warhammer-themed knick-knacks, you might want to check out the recently announced Serpent God Collector's Edition. There is unfortunately no giant statue of a Skaven in there, but there are some interesting collectibles so it might be worth your while if you're into these sort of things.
