Inspired by the golden age of 3D platformers, the newly launched Kao the Kangaroo is an action-adventure that's all about exploring a colorful world while smashing your way through all sorts of wacky baddies. Along the way you'll have to solve puzzles, collect a bunch of goodies in order to unlock upgrades and costumes, and naturally, do a whole lot of jumping around as this is still a 3D platformer!

I haven't played it myself so take the following with a few grains of salt, but judging by its reception so far it looks like Kao the Kangaroo is exactly like its predecessors - a rather solid yet somewhat unexciting mid-budget platformer. So if you have a bit of a soft spot for 3D platformers of old, and you don't mind Kao the Kangaroo's short length, then it might just be worth a closer look.
