Ubisoft's Ghost Recon Wildlands official artwork and logo

[Update]: Ubisoft has now announced a brand new sequel to Wildlands - Ghost Recon Breakpoint!

Ghost Recon Wildlands is Ubisoft's tactical open-world shooter designed with squad-based play in mind. As such, you can either mess around with a couple of AI companions, or team up with your friends and see just what kind of chaos you can wreak upon the world.

If this sounds like the type of game you'd love to try out, but you don't really feel like buying multiple copies just to do so, you'll be glad to hear that Ubisoft is now offering a free trial. Simply head on over to the official website, pick the platform of your choice, and you'll be able to play for 5 in-game hours either alone or alongside a couple of friends.

It is worth mentioning that this trial does not feature any restrictions. You can explore the entire open-world, check out both the PvE and PvP game modes, and even team up with players that already own the full version. And naturally, if you decide to purchase Ghost Recon Wildlands at any point in the future, all of your progress and achievements earned during the free trial will carry over.

If you're not sure whether Ghost Recon Wildlands is even worth your time, allow me to send you off with this lengthy gameplay trailer. It should give you a pretty damn good idea of what to expect. Enjoy!
