If you ever wanted to give Warhammer: Vermintide 2 a try ahead of its March 8th release date, now would be a very good time to do so! Simply head on over to the official website, follow the brief instructions, and you'll be given a free Closed Beta key if they are still available. I would advise you to do this as soon as possible because the Closed Beta has only been extended by another 24 hours (as of time of writing), and because there are only 10,000 new keys on offers.

As for whether Vermintide 2 is worth your time and effort, I would say the answer is a resounding yes. While the Closed Beta still has some issues, most notably with performance on one of the maps, it is a heap of fun and something I would highly recommend you at least try out. After all, it's completely free!

I'll do a full article on the Closed Beta in the near future, but until then you can read what I think about an earlier version of Vermintide 2 over here. It won't tell you much about the current and much-improved state of Vermintide 2, but it will at least give you an idea of what to expect.

If you prefer official sources, however, you can learn more by heading over to either Steam or the Vermintide website. And finally, here's one of the recent gameplay previews, just to help get you into the right mood. Enjoy!
