Despite World of Warcraft's Tides of Vengeance patch arriving in early December, the most important part of the update, the Battle for Dazar'alor raid, was delayed in order to give everyone enough time to enjoy the holiday season. Now that February is nearly upon us, I am glad to say that Battle for Dazar'alor has finally opened up its doors.

Right now only the Normal and Heroic difficulties are available, while the Mythic difficulty will be making its way here on January 29th alongside the first Raid Finder wing. As for the second and third wings, they will become available on February 12th and 26th respectively.

Besides the new raid, the latest update has also brought with it the second season of organized PvP with a bunch of new gear to collect, the second Mythic Keystone Dungeon season with a brand new affix to contend with, improved Azerite Armor with a brand new trait wheel to choose from, and naturally, a variety of balance changes and bug fixes. You can find all of the details, as well as read more about each of the new seasons, over at the official website.

The final thing worth mentioning is that the Zandalari Trolls and Kul Tiras humans are only going to become available once the next patch rolls around. When exactly that will be, I'm afraid I don't know, but on the positive side I can tell you that you won't need to do anything complicated in order to unlock them. Simply gain exalted with your chosen faction, complete the war campaign, and you'll be able to play the new races as soon as they become available.

Once Blizzard reveals some concrete information I'll make sure to let you know, but until then I wish you the best of luck with the new Battle for Dazal'alor raid!

Up for some more?
