[Update #2]: Chains of Domination has now arrived onto the PTR.
[Update]: Blizzard has made the Ve'nari reputation account-wide and thus removed weeks of grinding!
If you're tired of the current content and you're itching to give something new a try, you might be happy to hear that World of Warcraft's Update 9.1 - Chains of Domination will soon be landing onto the PTR. While the exact release date hasn't been released just yet, you can expect to see it arrive on the week of April 12.
In terms of content, things are once again shrouded in mystery. However, I can tell you that the fully finished version of Update 9.1 will feature a brand new zone called Korthia, the City of Secrets, a massive raid set in the Sanctum of Domination, as well as an eight boss dungeon that's all about the shifty Brokers. There will also be additional Torghast layers and rewards for said layers, a brand new season to freshen up both PvP and PvE, new Covenant campaigns, as well as the long awaited return of flying.
Raid testing schedules will be posted about a week after the PTR itself has gone live, which should give everyone plenty of time to get used to the new areas and mechanics. Much like before, some of these raid bosses are likely to be either buggy or badly tuned, so if you decide to dive in make sure to arm yourself with a bit of patience as things will most definitely break at some point.
Most importantly of all, make sure to give Blizzard some much needed feedback as you play through the PTR content. While they aren't always receptive to said feedback, there have been plenty of bad changes that have been stopped before reaching the live servers, so it's well worth spending a little bit of time to let Blizzard know how you feel about the new additions.
Once the PTR goes live I'll make sure to let you know. Until then, I'll leave you with one of the cinematic trailers showing off the story we'll be exploring throughout Chains of Domination. Enjoy!
