After an entire year of content shortage World of Warcraft has finally received a substantial update, one that will bridge the gap between Warlods of Dreaneor and the upcoming Legion expansion.
While the changes are quite numerous, the definite highlights of the entire patch are the newly redesigned classes and the greatly improved transmogrification system that no longer requires you to hoard thousands of old and useless pieces of gear. If you're looking to get a quick overview of all the new features, here's the official "survival guide" video:
On the other hand, if you would like to read more about these changes and the thought process behind them, I would suggest you head over to the pre-expansion patch website. Simply click on the category you're interested in and be prepared to waste hours of your time reading about the most minor of details in an otherwise massive MMO.
Finally, if you do own World of Warcraft and have a currently ongoing subscription, I would recommend you give Survival Hunters a try. They have recently been re-imagined as a melee orientated specialization and they are as fun as hell to play, especially since you get to actually fight alongside your pet now!
