Amber City, much like its predecessor Flood of Light, is a hand-drawn adventure that will task you with using lights to solve puzzles in order to restore a slumbering city back to its former glory. A simple enough premise, but things do get complicated fairly quickly as not only is there time travel involved, but also potentially hostile robots along with different colors of light that, unsurprisingly, each do their own unique thing.

Since trying to explain a puzzle game through words alone is a bit of a pointless venture, allow me to share with you the recently posted launch trailer. It's not exactly lengthy, but it should clue you in quite quickly about what kind of gameplay style Amber City is going for. Have a gander:

If you're still not sure where exactly you stand with Amber City and its assortment of puzzles, you'll be happy to hear that there is a free demo available. Simply head on over to Steam and you'll be able to see firsthand just what Amber City is all about.
